The Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences is one of the founding faculties of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), established in 1991. It comprises eight academic units—Accounting Sciences, Banking and Economic Sciences, Business Management Sciences, Finance and Fiscal Sciences, Actuarial, Insurance and Risk Management Sciences, Marketing and Consumer Sciences, the Graduate School of Business Sciences (GSBS), and the Institute of Development Sciences (IDS). Together, these units offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes recognised for academic excellence, practical relevance, and industry alignment. Anchored in Education 5.0, the Faculty is dedicated to transforming knowledge into innovation, industry engagement, and societal impact.
