Abstract
Having demonstrated in earlier readings (Nyambuya, 2014, 2017) that massive photons should – inprinciple;
exist without any such problems as (1) violation of gauge symmetry, (2) they being short lived,
(3) they being short ranged, (4) they having an extra degree of freedom and (5) they having their speed
being less than the speed c = 2.99792458 × 108 ms−1 etc; we herein compute the corresponding Planck
Radiation Law for these massive photons. We interestingly find that these massive photons result in a
Stefan-Boltzmann Law that is readily and easily testable in the laboratory. This new, interesting and
most welcome finding holds the most potent-seed and promise to bring “finality” to this age-old and
long-standing issue of the photon mass.
